Red, Veiled II

€200.00

Dakar, Senegal, May 2024

At times, more than capturing memories, I am drawn to photography that waits to bear witness.
In this case I was reminded of the words of Steve McCurry, which I hold dearly since a visit to his exhibition in Brussels. Reflecting on his "Boy In Mid Flight," McCurry mentioned waiting for hours and returning the next day, for life to occupy the beautiful lley. Coming back the next day, he captured that would otherwise lead to a photo of the decor.

59,4 x 84,1cm (DIN A1)
Digital photo. Edition 5, signed
Giclée print on Hahnemühle FineArt Pearl paper
